Keys to the match

The Bejlek scenario is based on her higher listed ranking, direct entry and potentially lighter workload before the match; its limitation is the lack of detailed recent statistics on her serve, returns and adaptation to Ningbo's hard court.
The Parks scenario is based on her 1.85 m height and potential for free points on serve, as well as possible local adaptation if her entry into the main draw comes from qualifier or lucky loser status; its limitation is the 6-2, 6-2 qualifying defeat, the high volume of errors and the uncertainty surrounding her exact path.
The schedule needs to be confirmed: 05:00 UTC on October 20 is only probable, with no official order of play found.
The weather, wind, humidity and court speed are not documented.

No reliable public report of physical discomfort was found for either player.
